Dr. Bailey Seabury is a dynamic, multi-faceted percussionist currently serving as Instructor of Percussion/Drumline Instructor at the University of South Carolina, where he coordinates the marching percussion program, teaches applied lessons, and co-directs the USC Percussion Ensemble, three-time winners of the Percussive Arts Society International Percussion Ensemble Competition (2012, 2021, 2024). As a soloist, chamber musician, and clinician, Bailey has performed nationally and internationally, including at multiple PASIC and DOP events. He maintains an active performance schedule with regional orchestras throughout the southeast and with his award-winning percussion project Duo Plygas. Bailey is dedicated to pedagogical marching percussion education as an in-demand marching percussion arranger and serves on the PAS Marching/Rudimental Committee. He holds degrees from Troy University, University of Central Arkansas, and the University of South Carolina. Bailey is a proud endorser of Malletech, SABIAN, and Black Swamp Percussion.
